Guest: William T. Close, M.D.

Dr. Close, the author of Ebola: Through the Eyes of the People, spent 16 years in the Congo/Zaire as a physician and surgeon and was the personal physician to the President of the Congo. Hemorrhagic fever is a severe disease transmitted to humans from infected animals and animal materials. Dr. Close will discuss the disease and the effect is has on those effected and those who treat the sick.

Forty-eight percent of the 140 to 150 million international migrants are women. Women are now a growing export from many developing countries around the world. With this emerging trend come new issues in labor, health and family coping strategies. Dr. Omelaniuk will discuss what needs to be done to address these issues.

Christian groups in the U.S. and African-Americans have raised millions of dollars to buy the freedom of people enslaved in Sudan. But is the money raised by well-meaning people actually increasing the practice of slavery?
Our guests will discuss the situation and what the international community might do to bring an end  to this practice.

between American people and those who live in predominantly Islamic or
Arabic countries.  We'll discuss the poll, its questions and responses,
and what the results portend for future relations between Americans and
those from Arabic Countries.
