Food allergies are one of the most common chronic medical conditions. Dr. Cutler will discuss methods you can use to test yourself to determine whether or not you have allergies. She will suggest ways to live an allergy free life and  actually strengthen your immune system.

Internally Displaced Persons now outnumber refugees around the world. In some cases states have denied international relief agencies access to these groups. We will discuss the needs of and what can be done for these victims of political conflict.

Chernobyl has been described as the most poisonous place on Earth. The Ukrainian government says 4362 people who participated in the clean-up had died by mid-1999, though an independent study estimates the death toll at 22,000. We will discuss the effects of this accident and what needs to be done to protect the world from future man made catastrophes.

Sadly, though we all know we will eventually die, we are not prepared for the event.  Dr. Preston talks about the last moments of life and how doctors are trained to support them. Our guest from Hospice Care will describe the aid and comfort offered people at their last stages of life as well as helping family and friends to accept this final curtain.
