and his team were the first Americans to connect HIV and AIDS. The epidemic
has so far claimed 22 million lives. Drs. Gallo and Redfield will discuss
the research that is being done, the possibility of vaccines to prevent
the spread of the disease and what if anything can be done immediately
to stop the spread of the disease.
