Since it appears Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is still micromanaging state affairs will Mr. Khatami’s election victory really change anything inside Iran and have any impact on US / Iranian relations. Our guests will discuss any possible changes in Iran’s foreign policy.

I is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for human rights. The oganization is independent of any government, political ideology, and economic interest or religion. A representative of Amnesty International will join us to talk about this year’s report and if any countries have improved over the past year.

20 years ago Robert Gallo and his team were the first Americans to connect HIV and AIDS. The epidemic has so far claimed 22 million lives. Drs. Gallo and Redfield will discuss the research that is being done, the possibility of vaccines  to prevent the spread of the disease and what if anything can be done immediately to stop the spread of the disease.
