Leishmaniasis currently threatens 350 million men, women and children in 88 countries around the world. This parasitic disease is transmitted by the bite of an infected female phlebotomine sandfly. This is a disabling and sometimes highly mutilating disease. Our experts will discuss how this disease can be prevented and treated.
