            Policy Studies

Ecotourism is defined as responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people. Ms. Honey will give us an overview of the ecotourism industry and a first hand account of these projects around the world.

Topic: One Man’s Peace Plane for India/Pakistan
Guest: Admiral (Ret.) L.Ramdas, former Naval Chief and chairperson of the 
             Indian Chapter of the Pakistan-India Peoples Forum for Peace and 
             Democracy

As an active campaigner in the movement against nuclear weapons, Adm.(Ret.) Ramdas feels that what India and Pakistan should start fashioning mutually-acceptable safeguards against accidental attacks. We will discuss the detail of his plan.
