Guest: Jean Sasson
Born in Alabama in 1978,
Jean Sasson accepted a job at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research
Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She remained for 12 years. From the contacts
she made there grew stories that became historic novels about the human
condition. Ms. Sasson will talk about her years in the Middle East and
the novels she has written based on those experiences.

discussion, and among other things, societal progress. Having spent the
month of October in Afghanistan and Pakistan he will also share his experiences
and how his view of the world may have changed. |
