In 1922, a battle for national
independence was already going on. In 1925, Russia was seeking to "disarm"
Chechnya, on January 31, 1944, a resolution of the State Defense
committee decided to deport the entire Chechen-Ingush population to Kazakhstan
and Kyrgyzstan. In 2002 the war continues. Our guests will try analyzing
the situation and looking for possible solutions.

Marsh Arabs of southern Iraq are Saddam Hussein’s lesser-known victims.
By destroying the ecosystem of the marshes where these people live the
people were destroyed as well. With their land ruined most Marsh Arabs
have left the area, dispersing throughout Iraq and into refugee camps in
Iran. We will discuss these little known people of Iraq.
